The agriculture industry has a variety of in-demand and essential careers that will allow you to contribute to producing the world’s food supply, optimizing yields and profit margins, maintaining turf on golf courses and athletic fields, caring for livestock, maintaining and repairing equipment, ensuring efficiency, safety, and the use of today’s best technology, and resolving issues related to power supplies, environmental concerns, and structural safety, and more!
Careers in Ag Day is an excellent opportunity for prospective students to learn about opportunities in the agriculture industry! The event is hosted on our Beatrice Campus and provides the perfect opportunity to see SCC’s 900-acre farm in action!
All participants will need to complete a waiver to participate in Ag Day (if under the age of 19, it must be signed by a parent or guardian). Please click on this link: Ag Day Waiver to print and sign the waiver. If you are under the age of 19, your parent or guardian will need to sign the waiver. Please return your complete waiver to admissions@southeast.edu or you may turn it in at check-in on the day of the event.
