Careers in Healthcare Day

Thinking about a career in the health field?

Careers in Healthcare Day will give you the opportunity to explore career opportunities in the healthcare field.

Participants will have the opportunity to learn side-by-side with current SCC students and faculty in hands-on activities as they explore career fields such as nursing, dental assisting, medical assisting, respiratory therapy, physical therapist assistant, surgical technology, pharmacy technician, paramedic/EMT, radiology, healthcare services, and medical laboratory technology.

Participants will also have the opportunity to learn about how SCC can help them achieve their goals in careers like dietitian, medicine, physical therapists through the completion of pre-professional coursework and job training in the healthcare industry.

Participants will select career interest areas and have the opportunity to participate in hands on stations.

All participants will need to complete a waiver to participate in Healthcare Day (if under the age of 19, it must be signed by a parent or guardian). Please click on this link: Healthcare Day Waiver to print and sign the waiver. If you are under the age of 19, your parent or guardian will need to sign the waiver. Please return your complete waiver to admissions@southeast.edu or you may turn it in at check-in on the day of the event.
