Kat Kreikemeier, administrative director of admissions at SCC, said she and her team are excited to offer a wide range of visit days to prospects and their families.

"Discovery Days provide prospective students and their guests an opportunity to visit a campus, participate in an in-depth guided tour of programs on that campus, visit one-on-one with program and Student Affairs staff, and hear from current students," Kreikemeier said. "These recruitment days give prospective students a chance to learn about the College and the many great opportunities that an SCC education provides. Programs and student support areas are asked to set up a table during a portion of the day."

Career Days have become popular among prospects as they are more targeted events than Discovery Days.

"Career Days give prospective students the opportunity to participate in hands-on activities facilitated by SCC faculty and students and industry partners," Kreikemeier said. "Students practice the skills they will learn in our programs of study and learn about career and employment opportunities. These events are very popular with many of our area high schools."

SCC also offers individual tours, group tours and its virtual tour online.
