Child Care and Early Childhood Education

Are you in need of child care?

CCAMPIS Grant

Lincoln Campus

Child care and early childhood education is available for children ages 6 weeks through 5 years, as well as summer and mini-camps for children 6 through 12 years at the Lincoln Southeast Community College Child Development Center. The Center offers a year-round program, with major holidays and one week during winter break when closed. Full and part-time options are available for SCC students and full-time education and care for faculty, staff, and community families. Enrollment is determined by the order in which the wait list applications are received, with priority to SCC students.

Interested families are welcome to visit the program and meet the staff. Please contact the SCC Child Development Center at 402-437-2450 or email lmiller@southeast.edu for more information, including center classroom openings.

Beatrice Campus

Childcare is not available as part of the Beatrice Campus services, but Blue Valley Community Action offers a 0-5 Head Start Preschool program in partnership with Beatrice Public Schools. The program is income-based, but there are some exceptional circumstances which are considered. Interested persons should call 402-228-1585. Head Start is not affiliated with the College.

Milford Campus

Childcare is not available as part of the Milford Campus services, but the Student Affairs office will provide information for those needing daycare services, so they may locate services available in the community.
