LPN to ADN | Falls City & York Cohort
A accelerated pathway for licensed practical nurses, beginning Fall 2027.
In response to community need, SCC is offering a full-time LPN-to-ADN cohort at the Falls City and York Learning Centers beginning Fall 2027. This cohort gives licensed practical nurses in the area an accelerated path to an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) and the chance to become a registered nurse while staying in their local community.
This is a special offering of SCC’s established Associate Degree Nursing, LPN-ADN Option, delivered at these two Learning Center locations.

How the program works
This cohort uses a hybrid model designed to keep students close to home:
- Didactic coursework is completed online.
- Lab experiences take place at your designated Learning Center — Falls City or York.
- Clinical experiences are completed with SCC healthcare clinical partners in your community.
Eligibility and requirements
To be considered for this cohort, applicants must:
- Be a currently licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
- Meet all Nursing Program admission requirements and complete the prerequisite coursework outlined in the SCC Program Catalog.
- Submit a complete application during the February 1–28, 2027 application period.
