1. Explore Your Options at Southeast Community College

  • If you are unsure about what you would like to study or where to start, let us help you! Our admissions staff has specific knowledge about SCC's Programs of Study and are ready to help you select a program and/or courses that best fit your career and transfer goals.

  • We offer several opportunities to visit campus, including individual visits, Discovery Days, and Explore It Days. Visit with students, faculty and staff and see our modern classrooms and labs. You'll also have the chance to learn more about financial aid and support services.

2. Apply to a Program of Study

  • Apply on our website. If you are completing an application for the first time, you will need to create an account; ID verification may be required. Please check your email for instructions on how to activate your account. You will also receive a follow-up email from us once you submit your application. Applications are also available at any SCC campus or Learning Center. There is no cost to apply.

  • Submit ACT, SAT, or Next-Generation ACCUPLACER® scores to the Admissions Office at any SCC location or by email at admissions@southeast.edu. Reading scores must be from within the last five years and math scores from within the last three years.

  • Send Transcripts

Submit your final high school transcripts to the Admissions office at any location or by email at admissions@southeast.edu. • Check Your Email

Regularly check your email for important updates regarding registering for classes, scholarships, financial aid requests and more.

All new students must participate in New Student Enrollment (NSE) before registering for classes. You will receive an email closer to the start of the registration period for the term you plan to begin. The email will provide details on how to access your account and complete NSE.

  • Class Registration

After completing NSE, your College Advisor will contact you within 3-5 business days. They will guide you through course selection and the registration process.
