programs available throughout Nebraska. It's a trusted reference used by all five
Area Health Education Centers across the state, as well as by high schools, colleges,
and universities.

Become an AHEC Scholar
The Nebraska AHEC Scholars Program connects health professions students with practitioners
across a range of disciplines and provides real-world experience beyond the classroom—building
confidence and a competitive edge in the job market. Scholars gain access to exclusive
workshops, prospective employers, community leaders, and the latest state and national
health resources, strengthening their credentials as emerging health care leaders.
The program is offered at no cost to students.
