The Dual Credit Advantage (DC Advantage) at Southeast Community College wants you to get a jump start on college while you are still in high school at an affordable price. We offer several dual credit courses either at your high school or online which will transfer to most colleges and universities. To find out how credits transfer visit Transfer Advising page.
Scholarship opportunities are also available to students who need financial assistance. Those who qualify through either the Learn to Dream Scholarship or ACE Scholarship can utilize those dollars to pay for dual credit courses. Visit their websites or visit with your high school counselor for more information regarding the application process.
The classes offered are college courses most degree seeking students will need in college ranging from English, Math, and Sciences. Courses are offered in a 16 week format and students must register through the dual credit office. Below is a list of current courses being delivered via distance learning (fiber) or online. Your high school may offer more courses onsite, please contact Erin May or Cheryl Parks for a current listing of dual credit courses offered at your high school.
