The Dr. Jim Isemann Student Travel Scholarship

A limited number of $500 Student Travel Scholarships are available for each Global Education Travel Trip.

To be eligible for the Isemann Travel Scholarship students must:

After the forms have been submitted to the Trip Advisor, the Global Education Committee will evaluate the applications and notify the applicants via email of the committee’s decision. Scholarships will not be awarded to a student if the scholarship criteria are not met.

The Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship

The Gilman Scholarship Program broadens the student population that studies and interns abroad by supporting undergraduates who might not otherwise participate due to financial constraints.

To be eligible for the Gilman Scholarship, you must:

  • Be a citizen of the United States;
  • Be an undergraduate student at an accredited institution (including two-year institutions) and in good standing;
  • Be receiving a Federal Pell Grant or provide proof that you will be receiving a Pell Grant during the term of your study abroad program or internship;
  • Be in the process of applying to, or accepted for, a study abroad program or internship.

Award amounts range from $100 to $5,000 and applications are due in October and March. The application process includes two essays: a Statement of Purpose and the Follow-on Service Project Proposal. See the Application Overview for more information on applying.
