  • The best way to learn more about SCC is to visit! A campus visit will give you a first-hand look at what our students experience on a daily basis. SCC offers the following campus visit options:

    Virtual Events: Live webinars, where you will hear directly from SCC faculty and the Admissions team. This is your chance to ask questions and meet our faculty! Event Schedule.

Discovery Days include a campus tour of all available programs on a particular campus, an opportunity to hear from instructors and staff, a student panel, information about paying for college, and lunch.     Campus Visit: Are you looking for a more in-depth campus visit experience? An individual campus visit gives you the opportunity to explore specific programs of interest, take a campus tour, learn about campus resources and services resources, and meet with Admissions and Financial staff. Campus visits are available both in person and virtually and can be tailored to meet your specific needs. To schedule a campus visit, contact us today!

    SCC is committed to the health and well-being of our campus community and guests. In an effort to prevent the spread of COVID-19, the following practices are in place to offer our visitors a safe experience:

    • For the convenience and comfort of our guests, we offer both remote and in-person campus visits. Please let us know your preference, and we’ll schedule a tour experience to meet your needs!
    • To help us plan the best experience, we encourage appointments for campus visits whenever possible.
    • Tour groups are limited to one family per tour guide.
    • Tour guides and guests will wear face coverings. For your physical safety, as well as that of others at SCC, face coverings are required any time six feet of distance cannot be consistently maintained. Please bring a face covering to campus with you, or SCC will provide a disposable face covering. If you need an alternative for wearing a face covering, please contact for options.
    • Staff and faculty are committed to maintaining six feet of distance between individuals as much as possible. Plexi-glass barriers are also in use in various places across our campuses where six feet of distance cannot be achieved.
    • All individual meeting spaces will be sanitized before and after individual appointments with staff. Hand sanitizer is also readily available for staff and guest use.
    • Tour availability and processes are subject to change based on current directed health measures.

    Beatrice Campus

    SCC's campus in Beatrice, a community of approximately 12,500, is located on the west end of the city on Scott Road, just off U.S. Highway 136. Beatrice is the county seat of Gage County and is approximately 45 miles south of Lincoln on U.S. Highway 77. The main part of campus is comprised of several classroom and office buildings, as well as housing units and a gymnasium. Approximately 900 students take classes on the Beatrice Campus. Just south of the main campus is the Agriculture Center, situated on a nearly 800-acre laboratory where students receive hands-on instruction in three Ag-related programs and three focus areas.

    Lincoln Campus

    SCC's Lincoln Campus is the College's largest enrollment center with approximately 7,500 students. Located on the east edge of Lincoln, a community of nearly 250,000, SCC's Lincoln Campus is comprised of one large building divided into sections per academic discipline, a cafeteria, child development center, gymnasium, welcome center, and student center. There also is a concourse for the Professional Truck Driver Training program. Lincoln, Nebraska's Capitol City, affords SCC students many amenities such as cultural arts activities, restaurants and shopping.

    Visit SCC-Lincoln and you'll receive*:

    • A tour of the campus
    • An appointment to meet with a faculty member in your area of interest. Please note that faculty may have limited availability to meet with prospective students after 1 pm on Fridays. We’ll do our best to accommodate your requests.
    • An opportunity to meet with staff from Admissions and Financial Aid.

    Milford Campus

    SCC's campus in Milford, a community of approximately 2,000, is located on the southeast edge of the city on State Street. Milford, a community in Seward County, is located approximately 22 miles west of Lincoln on Interstate 80, then four miles south on Highway 6. The campus includes several classroom buildings, a cafeteria, a gymnasium, and residence halls. The original campus, known as Nebraska State Trade School, enrolled five students on May 1, 1941. Today, the Milford Campus is home to approximately 650 students who are enrolled in more than 20 Programs of Study.

    Visit SCC-Milford and you'll receive*:
    • A tour of the campus (with special attention on your program of interest)
    • An opportunity to meet with professionals in admissions, financial aid and registration.

    We will contact you to finalize arrangements after you have submitted the Campus Visit form. We will make every effort to accommodate your request. On occasion, the availability of tours will be affected due to tour volume, staffing and the College calendar.

    Parking Information
    There is no cost to park on any of SCC's Beatrice, Lincoln or Milford campuses. There are designated parking spots for visitors on the Beatrice and Milford campuses, and there are ample restricted/accessible parking spaces at each campus location for the exclusive use of individuals with disabilities who have specific limitations.
