Real credentials from a real college, in fields that match real Nebraska jobs. Every UPWARD student is enrolled in Southeast Community College. The credentials they earn are SCC credentials, identical to the ones earned on our Lincoln, Beatrice, and Milford campuses, fully transferable, and fully accredited.

Educational Navigators & Wraparound Support
Embedded staff help incarcerated students choose courses, plan their transition home, and stay enrolled after release. This support is available throughout their prison education experience, providing consistent, personalized guidance every step of the way.

A dedicated SCC education center is currently being built on the grounds of the Nebraska Correctional Center for Women.
