SCC-Beatrice is located in Gage County in southeast
Nebraska and enrolls over 900 students on a beautiful semi-rural
The Beatrice Campus of Southeast Community College is home to approximately 900 students, with about one-third living on campus. SCC Beatrice offers students 11 Programs of Study in areas such as Agriculture, Business, Criminal Justice, and Nursing. Another popular program is Academic Transfer, where students study for up to two years in preparation to transfer to a four-year institution.
The Beatrice Campus also is home to eight intercollegiate athletic programs: Basketball, cross country, softball, and volleyball for women, and baseball, basketball, cross country, and golf for men. SCC competes in Division II of the National Junior College Athletic Association. Other co-curricular activities for students include art, music and theatre. There also is a full schedule of intramural athletics in which students participate.
A large Continuing Education presence also exists at the Beatrice Campus, which serves Gage County and the surrounding region. SCC-Beatrice Continuing Education also offers some seminars of national interest in cooperation with the Homestead National Monument, Inc.
