New Student Enrollment

Get started on your Path to Possible at SCC!

New Student Enrollment provides new students the opportunity to engage with SCC in a virtual and interactive way! All new students must participate in the virtual NSE experience in order to register for classes. Through NSE, new students will:

  • Complete an online pre-advising survey
  • Collaborate with advisors via phone, email, and/or Zoom
  • Learn how to navigate The Hub (which includes registering for classes)
  • Discover various campus resources and more!

New students will receive an email from SCC prior to their start date that will contain more information about NSE offerings.

New Student Enrollment Experience

To complete the New Student Enrollment experience, please follow the instructions below.

  1. Log into The Hub and select the "My Courses" tab in middle of the page.
  2. Select "My Courses - Canvas."
  3. Click on "New Student Enrollment."
  4. Once inside the New Student Enrollment course, complete the modules. Each module will contain valuable information for you.
  5. After completing the final module about advising, you will be prompted to complete the new student advising inventory. The information collected in this survey will be shared with your College Advisor and used to build your first semester schedule.

Upon completing the NSE experience, including the new student advising inventory, your College Advisor will contact you within 3-5 business days with more information about SCC, your first semester schedule, and next steps!
