Steps for Admission

New or Returning Student

You plan to enroll at SCC for the first time or you have previously taken classes at SCC.

Steps for Admission:

1. Explore our Programs
2. Schedule a Campus Visit
3. Apply for Admission
4. Send Official Transcripts from your high school or a previous institution.
5. Send Placement Test Scores which includes ACT, SAT, ACCUPLACER or Next Generation Accuplacer. Reading and Writing scores must be within the last five years and Math scores within the last three years.
6. Complete New Student Enrollment & Register for Classes

Admissions Requirements

Visiting Student

You want to take a couple of courses at SCC but you do not intend to earn a degree at SCC.

Steps for Admission:

1. Complete the Visiting Student Application
2. Register for Classes
3. If you need help registering for classes, please make an appointment Admissions Counselor

Admissions Requirements

International Student

A student who is studying at SCC on an F-1 Visa. (the sole reason for being in the U.S is to study at a post-secondary level)

Steps for Admission:

1. Application for Admission - Apply online
2. Certification of Birth City Form
3. Passport
4. High School Transcripts
5. College Transcripts
6. TOEFL/IELTS/Duolingo
7. Placement Scores
8. Bank Documents
9. Affidavit of Support Form
10. Athletic Information

International Transfer Students must complete all of the above international student requirements, and submit the following:

• Copy of their Visa page
• Copy of their I-94
• Copy of their I-20 from the transfer-out school
