  • Southeast Community College in Partnership with 37 school districts in the Educational Service Units of 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 are proud to offer high school students the opportunity to enroll in Southeast Nebraska Career Academy Partnership (SENCAP) which offers several Academies: Health, Education, Information Technology, Business, Agriculture, and Welding.

Juniors and Seniors in high school not only have the opportunity to take college level coursework in a career cluster of their interest, but also have multiple opportunities to explore their career in a hands on approach through job shadowing, field trips, professional speakers, and annual events highlighting resume building, mock interviews, and other worthy career related activities.

The program is designed for students to participate in SENCAP for two years with the intention of students earning college credit and preparing them for their future careers.

Students can take their SENCAP courses in variety of formats: online, fiber/distance learning, hybrid, or face to face.  In addition to their college course, the will have a weekly portfolio assignment aimed to provide career education and exploration.

SCC has committed to waiving half of the student tuition and fees for their commitment and dedication to prepare for their career and post-secondary education. An overview of the courses being delivered are listed below. Registration for fall semestercourses begins in April and November for spring semester courses.
