Southeast Community College’s Culinary/Hospitality program cooked up 50 holiday meals for students who may otherwise not have a Thanksgiving dinner. Currently the College has food pantries at all three campuses for students to access grab and go food as well as other basic hygiene items.

Southeast Community College’s Precision Machining and Automation Technology program recently received a $15,000 donation from the Gene Haas Foundation. The money will be used for scholarships and for students to enter and travel to skills competitions such as SkillsUSA.

For the past 15 years, Southeast Community College’s Entrepreneurship Center is where many small businesses got their start. One example is the Bridge to Better Living, which started there 11 years ago and now has six locations in five states.
